Tara (Tahira) Hussain Director from Goldmark Training is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Keynote and TEDx speaker, Trainer, and Motivational Wellbeing Coach. She finds joy and sanctuary in her work and creative writing and is also an approved foster carer.
With a double-Masters and a 25-year career in mental health, community development and the housing sector, Tara has a successful track record in corporate consultancy and bespoke training in areas of personal development, equality and diversity and corporate commitment within organisations.
Her training and public speaking specialise in mental health, safeguarding, child protection and professional boundaries. In her therapy practice, she also delivers psychological assessments, guided self-help, talk therapy and medico legal services for clients.
Tara’s string of accolades and professional associations include: Chartered Institute of Public Relations membership; Accredited Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner; Management Committee member for Central Action Women’s Aid; Trustee for Big Life Company; trainer on Domestic Violence Awareness; and Founder of Inspired Sisters, a multi-cultural women’s organisation aimed at overcoming cultural barriers by providing access to IT training, building confidence, increasing numeric and literacy skills, and enjoying social interaction and events.
