Why Partner With Colony Networking?
Our founder, Simon Edmondson, built his success through years of attending and hosting networking events. Now his business focuses entirely on organising successful networking events, and we’re sharing that proven model with partners like you.
Over the past 12 years, our networking events have consistently enhanced hosts’ business visibility and served as a valuable extension to their ongoing projects. We’ve refined our services to ensure Colony events are distinctly different from other networking groups.
The Colony brand is well-known in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and North Wales. Now it’s time to expand that reputation for hosting structured, professional events to a wider audience.
We provide an excellent package including branding, proven structure, and social media presence, making it quick and easy to establish events in your area. We currently partner with The Federation of Small Businesses for our existing events, and we’d work to extend that established relationship to your area too.
We’ve built the systems and infrastructure to give you everything you need to launch and sustain successful events. From our website and Eventbrite integration to marketing materials and member management, we handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on hosting great events.
You’re not on your own. We provide training, guidance, and continuous support to help you succeed. Our proven structure makes events extremely easy to host and run, even if you’ve never organised networking events before.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. We provide training and support, and the meetings are structured to be extremely easy to host and run. If you can welcome people warmly and keep things moving, you can host Colony events.
Each meeting lasts two hours. We recommend hosting a couple of meetings per month. Additional time is spent on social media promotion and connecting with your contacts at other networking events. All the administrative work is carried out by us.
We don’t make events sector-specific, and we don’t operate a “one sector, one seat” policy. This means we attract a variety of businesses, from sole traders to major banks and everything in between. This diversity is one of our strengths.
You’ll need a laptop. Depending on the venue, you may need a projector and screen, though some venues provide these.
We won’t place competing events in areas where Colony Networking already operates. We recommend holding events in towns or cities with plenty of businesses represented to ensure good attendance.
Colony Networking hosts often use the events as a marketing tool for themselves, so the value goes beyond direct profit. However, depending on member signups and attendance, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be in profit within a few months. Your success depends on your effort in building and promoting the group.
