Mike Braun

Mike joined the company in 2014 and has brought a new dimension to the business. Also from a corporate background, Mike is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having trained with a Top 4 firm in Edinburgh.

After qualifying he spent the next 20 years in a number of senior financial roles in the UK and overseas, giving him a real appreciation of what different businesses need to develop.

His ability to help clients see ‘beyond the books’ and think strategically about their business is a real feature of the Bean’s approach and one our clients are increasingly glad of.

Outside of work, Mike is a keen cook and in the ‘Masterchef’ style is always up for an invention test, creating meals from whatever is left in the fridge for his wife and three children.

He’s also swum the Channel as a member of a cross-Channel relay team and is a fluent German speaker.
