After completing a degree in Nutrition at the University of Huddersfield, Anne worked for Compass Group, a global Food Service management company, with responsibility for health and food safety across the UK. She left after 18 years to spend time with her (then) young children. She has since completed a Post Grad Certificate of Education and an MSc in Nutrition & Exercise Science. Anne was invited to give a guest lecture at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002 and never left. She is now Principle Lecturer in Food and Nutrition.
