1Voice

1Voice is a small national member led charity that supports people who have no verbal communication, typically because they have a disability, such as cerebral palsy. 1Voice creates opportunities to bring together those who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and the people important to them (family/carers/supporters) to share ideas, information, skills and personal experiences. It aims to reduce the social isolation that being unable to speak can bring.

1Voice holds a national residential weekend and a one day event each year. There are a number of local branches that hold activities throughout the year. Members are kept up to date with information about AAC and events through regular newsletters.
