Laing Legal was formed by Neeta Laing. Neeta is a fully qualified solicitor and has over 12 years post qualification experience. Neeta’s experience is extensive and includes:
- training as a solicitor and qualification at global law firm DLA Piper
- over six years (including at Associate level) at DWF solicitors
- Partner at Lewis Hymanson Small Solicitors where she headed up the Employment department
- experience gained in industry prior to qualification as a managerial grade buyer at BT and within the NHS
Neeta has successfully prepared and secured high level tenders identifying and sourcing new work with a natural entrepreneurial and enterprising flair. She has developed innovative employment offerings for clients responding to changes in the economy and to client requirements. Her experience of employment matters is significant and she has handled many complex matters on a contentious and non – contentious level.
Neeta has conducted monthly employment training seminars for clients and spoken at national conferences. She has contributed numerous articles to trade journals and the press on topical employment matters.
Given this experience and the strong background in industry, Neeta has hands-on experience on many employment issues that you may face. She combines an approach that is practical yet technically correct with sound commercial acumen.
Employment legislation can be complex and wide ranging. It changes frequently and it can be extremely difficult to keep on top of it all.
