Warrington Breakfast Networking on location at Warrington Disability Partnership’s Centre for Independent Living

Join network leaders Tricia Peters, Kirsty James and Dave Thompson MBE for some relaxed and engaging networking

Come along and meet other professionals who are looking to connect and build new and improve existing business relationships with others in the area.

The meetings start with informal networking over tea/coffee and then followed by breakfast and relaxed table networking.

At the end of the meeting, stay on for half an hour to tour the Centre for Independent Living and Smart Flay (Assistive Technology Centre).

About Dave Thompson

Dave was a founder of Warrington Disability Partnership & its Disability Trading Company, Patron at the Foundation for Peace, Director of ELLA Performance Group & President of Cheshire Police Museum & Warrington Sea Cadets.

Dave is a member of various local and regional health and social care boards, and the national Wheelchair Alliance. He uses his lived experience to influence social change.

In 1996 he became a Fellow of Warrington Collegiate Institute, in 2001 he received an MBE for services for disabled people, in 2004 the “Paul Harris Fellowship” International award from Rotary, in 2006 he was commissioned as a Deputy Lieutenant for Cheshire, in 2011 he received an Honorary MBA from Chester University & a Lifetime Achievement Award from WIRE FM, in 2013 he won the Entrepreneur of Excellence Award for Disability at the National Diversity Awards & in 2014 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Warrington Guardian & in 2018 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Warrington Business Awards. In 2019 he received an Everyday Hero Award from Active Cheshire.

He is a full-time wheelchair user as a result of a spinal cord injury sustained in 1989 & a survivor of cancer in 1999 and 2021.
