Offered all day on the Google Bus:

* Drop-in digital advice & skills coaching for all
* Pre-bookable workshop sessions (see schedule below)

Offered during the afternoon within the community room of Lymm Library:

* Community Tea, Cake & Chat for ‘Time for a Cuppa Day’
* Business networking, coaching  & book exchange
* Well-being relaxation sessions including yoga, reflexology and life coaching.

Community services are offered for FREE but a donation to St Rocco’s Hospice would be appreciated.

12pm – First Steps Online (ideal for those wishing to boost their confidence online)

2pm – Build a Social Media Strategy (ideal for those growing a career of business)

4pm – Build a CV (ideal for students and those seeking a career change)

Lymm Library community and business drop-in – 1.30-4.30pm

* FREE cuppa, cake and chat (donations welcome to St.Rocco’s Hospice Warrington)

* Wellbeing sessions – pre-book a timeslot when booking a ticket. Suggestion donations shown below.

* Yoga taster group sessions – 11.15 (chair yoga) and 13.15 (yoga) – suggested donation £5

* Reflexology taster individual session – 11.30; 12.00; 12.30; 13.00; 13.30 – suggested donation £10

* Life coaching taster individual session – 15.00; 15.30; 16.00; 16.30 – suggested donation £5-10

* Drop-in business networking and business book exchange – 15.30-16.30 – suggested donation £5-10

Community and business services are offered for FREE but a voluntary donation of £5-10 to St Rocco’s Hospice has been suggested which is well below standard commercial rates.

Lymm Library is the venue for a very special day that combines technology with tradition.

The Colony Networking Group in collaboration with LiveWire Warrington who run Warrington Libraries is very excited to be partnering up with The Google Digital Garage bus tour to offer a 1 day free drop-in event for all local residents and business owners.

The Digital Garage is a place where anyone can come and learn how to harness the power of them internet to grow their business, learn more about the internet, or develop new vocational skills.

The Google Bus will be parked in front of Lymm Library from 9am-5pm on Wednesday 28 February.

Anyone can drop-in to ask the Google Digital Garage team for free digital advice and skills coaching or sign up to one of four specific 1 hour workshops which will take place on the top deck of the bus.

Meanwhile, inside the library, local people are invited to drop in for a free cuppa, cake and chat. You’ll be able to hear more about the exciting vision for further community and business support at Lymm Library. There will also be taster relaxation sessions plus some casual drop-in business networking, coaching and a business book exchange for anyone who might like to take half an hour out of their busy day.

The event has been planned to coincide with several awareness days that week, including World Book Day, which runs at the Library the following day, as well as Time for a Cuppa Day and University Mental Health Day.

The day aims to strike the perfect balance between embracing change and the digital technologies Google can advise on and encouraging time out of the day to focus on personal wellbeing and chat with locals over a cuppa.

As it is also the month of the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal and Ovarian Cancer Awareness, any donations made for tea and cake will be given to Colony’s annual charity of the year, St. Rocco’s in Warrington who care for local people with cancer as well as other life limiting illnesses.

A programme of activities is planned throughout the day. Whilst the Google Bus will run on a drop-in basis throughout the day, bookings are advised for any of the specific Google 1 hour workshops.
