2.5hr business workshop ‘Focus on Finance’ in partnership with Jennifer Lambden of Business Growth Specialists UK Ltd and IBD Business Advice Group.
The workshop begins with an overview of why sound financial management needs to be the central support pillar of your business. We’ll introduce and explain the basics of financial awareness including the jargon, legal obligations, and best-practice advice to manage your business finances. We’ll then take an in-depth look at cashflow and credit control in a small business, mindful of the fact that ‘cash is king’ after all, and we’ll link these together with other areas of business activity.

- Key issues facing SME’s today and how they all connect with cash flow and growth, including getting paid, credit terms, chasing debts, leveraging your marketing (free resources v’s paid), increasing sales whilst managing the risk to your business, cost of sales, and understanding the difference between turnover and profit.
